Service Description

With a local guide, you will Visit the Machewe falls on the way to Livingstonia Village. Listen to the villagers, they will tell you the story of the waterfalls and the village, how they used these to protect themself against the Ngonis. Take a small local lunch at the market and visit the historical church. It is also possible to go inside and to visit the tower with its original bell. Take a tour in the university of Livingstonia, visit some class rooms, the academical room and the two nice patio, with a Victorian architecture. At Stone House you can look at a little bit of history with a visit of the museum. Stone House is a historical monument of Malawi. We'll let you discover the story of this house. You will picked up at 8:30 am at the reception and join your tour guide in Chitimba to reach Livingstonia with a local transport adapted to the road. You will be back around 5:30 pm at the lodge.
