There are a lot of walks available in Luromo Peninsula : in the mountains, along the lake, in the farmland, in fishermen villages, ... Every walk offers different kind of landscapes, wildlife, and contact with the locals, at any moment of the day. Whether you are a beginner or a professional hiker, from 1 hour to the whole afternoon, flat paths to strong slopes, luxuriant vegetation to the beach, there is always a walk that you can enjoy. Walking through the villages is the best way to connect with the local population. The locals are very friendly and like to speak with people coming from outland. The most of them speak a little English, and they are very honoured and proud that you show interest in them, so don't hesitate if you have questions. There is a selection of walks at the reception, as well as topoguides. On them, you will find a map with the walks on it, the indications, what you can see during that walk and some tips. There is a deposit of $5 asked at the reception for the topoguide.
